The LGU-Talacogon, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Pauline Marie R. Masendo, RN successfully conducted the Municipal Children’s Congress: A Day of Governance on November 25, 2024. With the theme “Break the Prevalence, End the Violence: Protecting Children, Creating a Safe Philippines,” the event emphasized the shared commitment to safeguarding children’s rights and ensuring a safe environment for the youth.
The one-day activity was organized by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office MSWDO Talacogon led by MSWDO Fritzie Ann Bag-ao Asotigue . Mayor Pauline, together with the Municipal Officials and Heads of Offices, warmly welcomed the children and facilitated an engaging orientation on their roles and responsibilities as important members of the community.
