The 𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐏𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐎𝐆𝐎𝐍 proudly joins the 𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐀𝐂𝐘 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 (NPC) in celebrating Privacy Awareness Week 2025. We recognize the importance of this annual celebration in strengthening data privacy awareness, promoting responsible data processing, and upholding the fundamental right to privacy for all individuals.
With the theme, “𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗼𝗻𝘀,” we stand with the NPC in underscoring the need to address privacy challenges in the Philippines at a time where data moves swiftly across borders.
